APA Zones Indicator Review

APA Zones Indicator Review

Today I’m looking at a Forex indicator, and educational service heavily focused on advanced price action trading, APA Zones. The goal of the indicator is to identify support/resistance zones, to allow traders to find price action trade setups easier. They are currently offering an indicator, templates, training videos, a community Skype room, installation support and licenses that allow usage on multiple computers.

This one-man show is run by Gabriel Brent, a Forex trader located in Long Beach California. There isn’t too much information about Gabriel outside of this website, but it’s quite clear from analyzing the discussions, that he has a vast array of knowledge when it comes to price action trading. Traders can get in touch with support by calling (714) 660-4377, or emailing support@apazones.com. There’s also a phone number and email for sales inquiries, and you can access these from the contact page.

APA Zones Indicator Review

As time has gone on, there have been more and more additions to the APA Zones product line. Just making my way through the website, analyzing all these different tools and systems isn’t an easy process. The demonstration of the systems and different packages can be quite convoluted and unorganized. As someone who is new to the service, it’s quite apparent that sorting through the different aspects of each product, is certainly daunting. I do recommend that the developers streamline this better so we know what we should be getting involved with.

The software is organized into different levels based on the experience of the trader. APA Elements is for beginners, APA Generations is for intermediate traders, and APA Methods is for experts. Today, I’ll focus more on the elements plan as it’s the documented start point for traders signing up with this service for the first time.

The elements plan is “built to help you maintain consistent analysis of supply and demand, and take repeatable trade entry setups.” Gabriel’s system relies heavily on confluence. He believes that if a zone is available on multiple time frames, then there is a high degree of confluence which in turn leads to a high probability trade setup. The indicator provided helps map these automatically, which makes for easy trading opportunities.

I see similarities in this, and in my other recent Forex Indicator reviews of WeTalkTrade’s PipBreaker, and the Rapid Trend Gainer.

Breakdown

  • Type: Forex Indicator
  • Price: $45-$158/month
  • Strategy: Price Action
  • Timeframe: All Timeframes
  • Pairs: All Pairs

Depending on what package you sign up for, the price of the APA Zones products, can be quite expensive. The elements package costs $45 per month, the generations package costs $110 per month and the methods package costs $159 per month. The sales page for these packages is quite confusing, as they tell us that the elements package is for beginners but then tell us that it “requires you to already know everything about zone trading.”

Considering this is the package we are supposed to sign up with originally, I’m not sure why they are telling us that we already need full knowledge of zone trading. Maybe this is a typo, or maybe we have to do some sort of education that they provide first. Either way, this is not explained clearly.

Generally, I find this website to be somewhat confusing.

Trading Results

There don’t seem to be any trading results available on the APA Zones website. I’ve gone through most of the pages on the website now, and I’ve seen a handful of videos, and some sample trade setups, but no trading results.

With statement sharing services like Myfxbook, and FX Blue available, I see no reason why any vendor can’t provide us with trading results in 2018. I would like to see this vendor using his trade strategies on a daily basis to grow when account, and prove to us that is theories are viable.

Client Feedback

I’ve found 3 reviews, and all of them are 5 star reviews, but there hasn’t been a single review since late June 2016. Also, all 3 of these reviews were made on the exact same day, which is mildly suspicious.

Conclusion

I would like to see much more from the APA Zones team in terms of actual trading results before I consider giving this ago. I would also like to see the vendor better organize the website so we know where we are supposed to start, and what steps we are intended to take.
